A quick catch up before I abuse LJ-cut...

2nd year at college is over and done with. I'm sticking around Boston until the end of June for class and work. Moved to a single in the smaller dorms, which is good since its currently in shambles due to all the Anime Boston prep. How do people live with me, really?

Spent the first half of the con with a guy from my university and his friends from CT... then the Hetalia cosplayers kidnapped me the rest of the weekend :>

Friday

Got up extra early because I was anticipating another LINECON 2008. Couldn't go to the Thursday pick-up since I have class 1-9PM. Did some final touch-ups to the wrench, too. Disappointing low turn out for Baccano! cosplay this year. I did meet a Firo and Ennis at the Dealer's Room though, and an Ennis-turned-Reno at DD.

_{I lost one of the gloves in the morning and had to keep one hand in my pocket when people took picures lol}

Got my badge within an half an hour or so, which gave me some chill time before Carlos got there. Dropped by the Crossplay, Shinto and Mystery Anime/Manga panels before going around the Dealer's Room and Artist's Alley.

Met Carlos at Chis Ayres' Mock Combat Workshop in the afternoon. Figured it might be helpful for Taekwondo skits.

After that was more wandering, Anime You Should See panel, dinner and IRON COSPLAY.

HAHA THE INSANITY IN THAT ROOM WAS FANTASTIC
My team turned Snake into the Prince using sippy cups(and thus the birth of Ferb). Then another group made this epic Godzilla vs. King Kong thing in the 2nd round. JUST. BRILLIANT.
I lost rock-paper-scissors for Pokemon Platinum, but won Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Sweettt~

Thanks for picking me out of the audience furiousmice/England ;D America (the 5th judge) came in late. Don't really blame him since the Dunkin Donuts lines at Hynes were pretty long over the weekend.

Crashed a TWEWY shoot and met the rest of the Hetalia group. I missed a bunch of people from the Friday gathering. Boo.
The LACK OF FRANCE saddened me. But its ok, he was there in spirit.

Took a break from the awesome to see the first episodes of the Romeo x Juliet screening. I'm tempted to invest in the Romeo collection. Last Baccano! DVD will be released in June (i think) and I'll need a new series to force me into support the industry. Dub was good and the first set goes till ep13 - right before I lost interest. So it would work. xD

Snuck out at 5-ish to make it to THE AWESOME HETALIA PANEL. The Mediterranean nations were in line already, along with a bunch of Russias. During the wait, we snatched an awesome Korea and Japan (pomgrenadier and moohoop!) and broke a glass bottle. I love how we all backed away and waited for security to take care of the mess. We are such girls lol.

Can't wait for more videos to come up~! Everyone was hilarious.

Went to a Japanese restaurant after the panel for mochi ice cream and sushi (yes, in that order). Should have gotten vanilla for shopping purposes... but I'm too much of a green tea freak.

I won't even try to catch up on the stuff that's happened since my last entry... three months ago. Oh my.

What's important to note is that I'm home for the summer, not a freshman, still luff Yuki, and am very very bored. 8D

Finally changed my layout after god knows how long. Still has Ryuuki in it though XD This is starting to feel a lot like a repeat of last summer with the revitalization of my SaiMono fandom, ToyCon, college crap and wisdom teeth extraction part2. Although maybe I'm a bit more indifferent toward the latter two this time around 8>;;;

FinAid stuff came in recently. I'm getting a $1500 merit award from CFA this year along with other things... like Work Study :o

Roommate assignments are up, too. Which means I need to start reviving myself on Facebook. (haha omg, i'm like dead everywhere online)
Still waiting to hear back from the move-in volunteer thing...

I saw Gankutsuou, but the set was like... $130 o_O That's waaaayyyy too much in peso. Haha, yeah. I still think in Philippine currency. I've already spent enough this month.
I miss Comic Alley :c Buying stuff here makes me feel less guilty though XD;;;

Last Thursday - had wisdom teeth out

Last Friday - missed the YFC meeting because of the above, which sucked. Lumi stayed over that night (we were at Serendra) :3 Too bad I looked funny coz of the swelling. Now she has blackmail pics (?)

Saturday - AC Taekwondo 07-08's Day Out <3 As honorary member who just so happened to be stuck there, I was dragged along (and had to clean up after them lol) ^__^; I feel bad for missing the MoA event though... ~~I still believe that even passing by for lunch or something wouldn't have hurt.~~ The day after I got permission to go to that thing was when I found out I needed the surgery that week asdfghjklwtf D: sorry, Iya!! Hehe - Don't worry TKD people. I still had an awesome time with you guys~ <3

Sunday-Monday - Me doing the usual...minus chewing xD

Tuesday - stitches off! w00t! Just in time for me to steal food from Charlie at the Assumption Day Vigil XDDD I was actually supposed to have the last two wisdom teeth out that day, but my dentist said nevermind so yay~ :3 It was great seeing everyone again (those who i don't usually see when i pick up Charles, anyway xD).

Wednesday - No school day for AC which turned into a no school day for all because of the weather. Wasn't able to go visit DLSU like I pla-- lol wtf i typed the exact same thing last time XD it's a curse. er, anyway. Since I couldn't go out I stayed at Serendra again while Charles and her group worked on projects. Seriously, why am I always stuck with reesheluh?? XD More cleaning after that (ARGH GLITTERS DX) and then we heard classes were suspended again for the next day (which meant we couldn't go back to Westgrove that night, glad i brought extra clothes). Thus began Charlie's six-day break...

Yesterday - Had lunch with Charlie and Dad at Market Market. Ran into some relatives at Serendra after that. Also dropped by our grandparent's house on our way home :) They gave us a copy of the issue of Blue Blood where Lolo and the family are featured. I'm not in the family pic they used (yesh! xD) but they used one of the pics from the anniversary, so Dad's there.

As for today... Nothing much. Forced Charlie to watch some movies :3

Okay, so yesterday Dad wanted us to stay in the city because of the traffic caused by the rain (believe me, it was hell at the SLEX). reesheluh left some homework at the house though and so we ended up getting back to Cavite after midnight. I think it took us about three hours by car. Managed to get another two hours sleep before we left again to bring Charlie to school - only to find out at around 6am that classes were suspended :| Haha, so we just spent all day at Market Market again :D

Wasn't able to go visit DLSU like I planned though... :c Next time!!

Aw, and I was hoping to be able to see everyone before I temporarily lose my ability to chew...
Will be saying goodbye to my wisdom teeth tomorrow morning D: Found out I had to have them extracted Monday and am now doing so asap since I'm leaving for Boston in less than three weeks. omg O-O

btw - just found out my roommate's attending another university. hopefully they let me know my new assignment soon. if not... then yay single~...but what the heck am i gonna do about that microfridge thing??
